Musicians from the rock-band Velvet Revolver have announced that they’ve stopped cooperating and working together with vocalist Scott Weiland.

The reason for breaking up was singer’s “an extremely unequable character”. Who will become a new Velvet Revolver’ vocalist is yet unknown.

An announcement was said against a backround of the news that Weiland is making a reunion with his former band Stone Temple Pilots.  He is planning to take some part in his former project.  Above all, during one of the recent concerts Weiland said that Velvet Revolver may fall apart because of his reunion with the former band.

Velvet Revolver was formed in 2002 by the former members of Guns N’ Roses: guitarist Slash, bass guitarist Daff Duff Mckagan and drummer Matt Sorum. Since then the band has released two albums: “Contraband” (2004) and “Libertad” (2007). In April 2008 musicians were planning to enter the studio and record their third album.
