Unfortunatelly, Peter Howson was not able to sell his unique “Madonna and Guy” at Glasgow’s art dealing auction, which was organised by the McTear’s Auctioneers and Valuers, said New Musical Express. A canvas which shows naked Madonna and her ex-husband Guy Ritchie in the grotesque form did not inspire buyers to purchase it. This painting received a few requests, but none of it was able to reach the required price of fifteen thousand pounds. Surely, Howson’s painting is a little bit odd and strange, even offensive at some point. However, it’s possible that some time later, after many years will pass, it shall be worthed on the right level. Many controversial works of art such as this one did not get enough attention in the beginning, but later were considered to be something very special. “Madonna and Guy” is still avalable for purchase, however McTear’s is not going to continue to put it on auction anymore. They just lost any hope to make it big right now. “Madonna and Guy” was created in 2005 and was immediately included into Howson’s collection of paintings where Madonna is not showing any clothing. Among those who possess this artist’s other paintings are popular musicians such as Mick Jagger, David Bowie and Madonna herself.

Legendary Black Sabbath leader Ozzy Osbourne had started the court procedure against his old collegue and the band’s guitarist Tony Iommy, said Blabbermouth. The reason for such an action is Ozzy’s disappointment over Iommy’s rights to literally own “Black Sabbath” trademark, which now legally belongs to him with the help of U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. As Osbourne says, Black Sabbath guitarist had registered “Black Sabbath” as a brand without having any legal rights to do so, at least without consulting him. Ozzy is insisting on changing the registration documents and wants 50% share. What particular role is Sharon Osbourne (Ozzy’s wife and manager) playing in this process? Maybe she is involved, hence Sharon is a huge business lady and knows how to count money very well. Her strong influence on Ozzy is also quite famous. On the other hand, Iommy was not supposed to do something like this because how he could forget to include one and the only real frontman of Black Sabbath. Of course, he was (Ozzy) not the only one to participate in the band, but he was the original and without any doubt the best. In addition to this news, Ozzy also wants some of those money Iommy was making while totally possessing “Black Sabbath” as a brand. Iommy should better give something to Ozzy because truthfully it’s not really fair.
