Another one happened during their concert in Santiago, Chile. Those fans who didn’t have tickets began to storm the Club Hipico hippodrome, where the show took place, thus one hundred and twenty people became arrested. This time as in the previous one the reason for rioting was caused by some painful difficulty experienced by Metallica’s fans to purchase tickets. Eventually, those people who couldn’t get to the show began to fight with security and police in order to get to the show which took place in the Simon Bolivar park. Possibly the whole thing began to drag others who just wanted to create the scandal. Rioters were throwing rocks and bottles while battling police forces, so the latter had to use gas and water hoses to stop the crowd. Following the information given by Latindex news agency, a few people had minor wounds, one of the fans is in critical condition and one hundred and thirty people got arrested. Practically, Metallica possesses this quite powerful effect on it’s fans, their shows are full of magnificent energy and their fans look more as if they were in the army - Metallica army. Definitely all these things were not created by the band, their message of peace is obvious, but the problem belongs to the show’s organizers and ticket sellers.
