Re-Releasing… Oasis
Infamous Oasis, which fell apart in 2009 was able to return onto the British national charts once again, said ClashMusic. The collection of singles produced by those who truly admire the band came out on June 14, and miraculously became the best selling music thing in the whole Britain. Gallagher brothers were contemplating on when to release it and the first plan was to do this during the last spring. Compilation includes twenty six songs, including “Whatever” and “Lord Don’t Slow Me Down”, - which were not contained by the last Oasis album. If “Time Flies… 2004-2009″ will keep the leadership over the British chart until the end of this week, then it may become the eighth Oasis release that was able to get on top. Oasis is not something what can go down so quickly after falling apart, especially knowing that so many fans still don’t see them as being separated. The last Oasis album - “Dig Out Your Soul” (2008) was able to reach number one and the double platinum status in Britain; practically the whole band deserves to receive the platinum status after so many years of success. Interestingly, “Time Flies… 1994-2009″ began to inspire fans to start buying the old albums, and the number of downloaded songs had risen tremendously. Therefore, it seems that re-releasing of the old material is not the worst thing at all!
