Duet
Curious track which was recorded by Amy Winehouse and an infamous American singer Tony Bennett in March this year will be released as the charity single, noted MTV. This news is talking about a classical song “Body and Soul” (originally it was recorded way back in 1930) and its new version Winehouse and Bennett have recorded at the Abbey Road studio in London; as Bennett said, this is the last song which was fully completed by Winehouse. Sadly, very talented people often leave this world too fast, and so much remains to be behind the scene. All the financial gains from the release of “Body and Soul” should be given to the foundation, which was founded by Amy’s father, it’s specialization is focused on helping drug and alcohol addicts. This song will also be included into Bennett’s album “Duets II”, which is going to hit the stores on September 20 this year. The same release also includes such musicians as Andrea Bocelli, Norah Jones, Michael Buble, Sheryl Crow, Lady Gaga and many others. Amy Winehouse was not singing with modernity, it was rediscovered from the past and through that became even more unique. Countless performers simply lack the right voice in order to sing, but still they sell out millions of copies, music business simply pushes them on. Winehouse was surely not one of them, and her historical voice will always be remembered among those who worth real talents.
