Frontman of the infamous Icelandic band Sigur Ros is planning to prepare the soundtrack for the new Cameron Crowe’s movie “We Bought Zoo”, noted Twitch Film website relating it to the blog led by the A.V. Club’s workers; the latter issue is concentrating on the entertainment. Currently there is no information whether Jonsi is going to write more music for this movie or represent something else from his old material; also, there is nothing on the fact that someone else will work on the movie’s soundtrack besides him. This upcoming film will show the British family, which spent all of it’s savings on restoration of the Zoo. Head of the family Benjamin Mea will be acted by Matt Damon, and such well known actors as Scarlet Johansson and El Fanning should also participate in the whole filming process. Cameron is working as a director, producer and co-author of the scenario, this movie should be released sometime in December, but there is no actual prove if all of it may take place that quickly. Previously, Cameron Crowe used to work on such movies as “Jerry McGuire”, “Almost Famous” and “Vinyl Skies”, notably, the latter movie’s soundtracks did incorporate music from Sigur Ros, so this director is holding to some degree of loyalty to the previous colleagues. Many if not all directors keep on producing with those whom they already know, joint artistic activities can’t really be exchanged or replaced in any possible direction. Moreover, Jonsi is surely standing within those, who know how to write soundtracks, thus his music goes everywhere.
