Rumors Anger Iommi
Infamous guitarist Tony Iommi had denied all the information regarding the sudden reunion of his legendary Black Sabbath, the band in which he was participating for years. As Iommi said, sometime in June this year he met with a journalist from Birmingham and answered on a number of questions about various issues that deal with music. Tony was contemplating on the fact that Black Sabbath could hypothetically get back together, however, the whole idea was not clear and did not discuss any details. Anyway, the above mentioned journalist had published some material, which is definitely proving Iommi’s words about the band’s reunion; as always everything began to spread all over the Internet and many people started to believe. In his website Iommi had underlined that this journalist did enjoy a minute of fame, but for the next time nothing is going to happen. Musicians don’t like such rumors, especially if they move around without any agreements. On the other hand journalists and any media servants always try to hunt for sensations even if they have no clarity whatsoever. Black Sabbath was formed way back in 1969 and is now considered to be totally legendary for it’s influence on the future of music, particularly hard rock and heavy metal. The band’s line-up was shifting back and forth, but Iommi was the only unchanging member of it. Since the late 90’s Black Sabbath is getting back together during the Ozzfest events in the UK and US, and actually it will be awesome if this cool band decides to reunite not only on stage, but also in the real life.
