Today, as The Guardian noted, U2 leader’s portion is close to one million dollars of clear gains, something what he surely couldn’t really predict when buying the Facebook assets. The latter social net became the biggest place for investment on the side of Bono’s company and specialists from Elevation Partners didn’t miscalculate their financial prognosis too. Merely in 1/2 years Elevation Partners grew from nine to sixty five millions in total price, not the worst progress was made up and Bono had presumably known what was going on. According to Forbes Bono is one of the richest stars in music business today, for example, during the previous two years U2 was able to gain 900 million dollars; in concert which took place in Brazil this April the band made thirty three million dollars, something what practically no band can do right now. On the other hand Bono is not just gaining, but also spending a lot of his money on charities, fighting poverty and AIDS in Africa is probably the largest fields in which Bono is using his effort. In many ways he is not just a musician, but also a philanthropist, possibly the most successful one. People as him can’t just make money and later pose before cameras with top models, they usually get involved with something else, something what may bring true respect.
